About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated individuals to join our agricultural team in Canada as Farm Managers. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of our farm, ensuring efficient and successful production. Your strong leadership, knowledge of agricultural practices, and passion for farming will contribute to the growth and profitability of our farm.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and coordinate farm activities, including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and pest control
• Monitor and manage crop health and growth, implementing appropriate measures for disease and weed control
• Supervise and train farm workers, providing guidance and support
• Maintain farm equipment and machinery, ensuring proper functionality and safety
• Monitor and manage farm budgets, expenses, and financial records
• Implement and adhere to health and safety regulations and practices
• Develop and implement farm plans and strategies to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Maintain records of crop yields, inventory, and other relevant data
• Collaborate with agricultural experts, suppliers, and customers as required
• Stay updated on the latest agricultural techniques and technologies
• Handle administrative tasks related to farm operations

Salary Range - 3000 - 7500 CAD (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
Working Hours - 8 hours a Day
Working Days - 5 Days a week
Food, transportation, and accommodation will be provided by the company
The documentation process may take approximately 2-3 months
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or diploma in agriculture, agribusiness, or a related field
Proven experience in farm management or a similar role
Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, including crop cultivation, irrigation, and pest control
Familiarity with farm equipment and machinery
Leadership and team management skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and varying weather conditions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in farm management software and basic computer applications
Understanding of financial and budgeting principles in an agricultural setting
