About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Computer Administrator to join our team in Canada. As a Computer Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our computer systems, networks, and servers. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices
• Monitor and troubleshoot computer systems, networks, and servers to identify and resolve technical issues
• Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity and security
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels
• Install and update antivirus software and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats
• Provide technical support and assistance to users, both in person and remotely
• Collaborate with vendors and IT service providers to resolve complex technical issues
• Conduct system performance monitoring and optimization
• Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects and upgrades
• Maintain documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in computer administration

DETAILS


  • Gender - Male/Female

  • Age - 21 to 45 years

  • Salary Range - 3000 - 7500 CAD (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

  • Working Hours - 8 hours a Day

  • Working Days - 5 Days a week

  • Food, transportation, and accommodation will be provided by the company

  • The documentation process may take approximately 2-3 months


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Proven experience as a Computer Administrator or in a similar role

  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and servers

  • Proficiency in operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, or macOS

  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V

  • Experience in managing Active Directory and group policies

  • Knowledge of network protocols, routing, and security principles

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, CompTIA Network+) are a plus
